Job Description: They are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor with a mechanical bias, specifically in HVAC or plumbing, to join a large team at a commercial site near Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities, and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
2. Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
4. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
5. Liaise with subcontractors and external vendors as necessary.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and documentation of compliance.
7. Monitor and manage budgets for maintenance activities.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a maintenance role with a mechanical bias, preferably in a commercial setting.
2. Qualifications in HVAC or plumbing are essential.
3. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
7. Flexibility to work overtime as required.
