Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
- Provide tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (learners homes or local libraries)
- Develop individualised education plans based on students' learning needs and goals
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support academic progress and boost confidence
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and areas for improvement
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using technology to enhance learning experiences
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Potential travel within the East of England region
- Collaborative work environment with support staff and educational professionals
- Adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
