Internal Sales Executive (Freight / Logistics)
Location: Redditch
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE) plus Bonus

Our client is a well-established logistics and freight forwarding business with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional international freight services by Air, Road, and Sea. With decades of success, a strong market presence, and an energetic, supportive team, they are continuing to expand and are now seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their Redditch office.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within the existing customer base. Working closely with the Sales Manager and wider operations team, you'll prepare and manage freight quotations, follow up on leads, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction from enquiry through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop existing client accounts to maximise business potential
Re-engage and rejuvenate dormant or inactive accounts
Prepare, calculate, and issue competitive freight quotations (Air, Road, and Sea)
Ensure all quotations are followed up promptly to maximise conversion rates
Handle all sales correspondence and maintain accurate records
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of shipments
Build long-term client relationships through excellent communication and service
Skills & Experience Required:
Freight forwarding or export sales experience (preferred but not essential - full training provided)
Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer service
Confident in calculating and submitting quotes or tenders
Experience negotiating with clients or suppliers
Strong administrative and numerical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
