Job Title: Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

Overview
Dedicated internal medicine role focused on complex and varied cases. You will work exclusively within internal medicine, managing endocrine, gastrointestinal, respiratory, renal, infectious, chronic, and oncology-related conditions, and will have ownership of patient progress and outcomes in a referral‑style environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide inpatient care and advance nursing techniques for a diverse caseload of internal medicine patients.
* Participate in diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring of complex cases.
* Maintain accurate patient records and support clinical decision‑making as part of the internal medicine team.
* Actively contribute to patient continuity and inter‑disciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
* Qualified RVN.
* At least 1 year post‑qualification experience.
* Strong interest in internal medicine and inpatient care.
* Referral experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Proactive, motivated approach to learning and professional development.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, shifts scheduled between 8am and 8pm. 1:8 weekend rotation with days off the following week. One designated bank holiday per year. Work is typically scheduled across a structured rota.
Training & Support
* Structured induction plan.
* Shadowing within the internal medicine team.
* Early one‑to‑one check‑ins with clinical support.
* Gradual progression into full responsibilities.
* Work alongside nurses of varying experience levels.
