MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis, working day shift. MTrec’s new career opportunity * Responsible for ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times. * Completion of effective planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities, with an emphasis on breakdown prevention through the continual development of PPM procedures. * Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems. * Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment. * Liaise with production, engineering, and external contractors to resolve issues quickly. * Identify and order spare parts, ensuring stock is maintained at required levels. * Root cause analysis of breakdowns and implementation of effective reoccurrence prevention plans using tools such as Major Breakdown Reports. * Work as part of a maintenance team and demonstrate good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers as required. * Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers. * Use of PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports. * Assisting with the training and mentoring of apprentices.
