They are now looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their Edinburgh-based team, working across Housing Association, Public Sector, and Commercial Office contracts.

The Role The primary focus of the role is to carry out servicing, maintenance, installation, and reactive works within commercial gas environments.
Key Responsibilities Servicing and maintenance of commercial heating systems and boilers
Installation and fault-finding across heating systems and domestic hot & cold water systems
Installation of heating plant, domestic water plant, and water heaters
Pipework installation (water, gas, air and associated systems)
Use of press-fit tools
Reactive repairs and preventative maintenance
Working collaboratively with other trades on-site
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and building regulations
Completing job reports and documentation accurately
Preparing materials lists and supporting apprentices where required
Participation in the on-call rota to provide emergency support
Carrying out additional duties in line with business needs
Skills & Experience Required NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing
Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1A
LPG qualification (desirable)
OFTEC 101, 105E & 600A (desirable)
Unvented Hot Water Storage certification
Strong fault-finding ability
Good understanding of H&S policies and procedures
Professional, customer-focused approach
Strong communication and reporting skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Benefits £43,000 - £45,000 Salary
OTE £55,000+

Core Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
On-Call: 1 in 16 (approx. 2-4 weeks per year)
