Overview
It is the fact that here at Severn Trent, we are a critical national infrastructure that makes working in our cyber team as our Principal Business Analyst so appealing. Using the skills and experience which you have built up, you'll be coming into a dynamic and fast paced environment where the projects you'll work on are front and centre of Severn Trent's plans to ultimately keep our customers safe from attacks. You'll be working as an integral member of our Information Security Delivery Portfolio, enabling the efficient delivery of business value to time, cost, and quality. You will have a strategic view across all our cyber projects as well as supporting fiscal management and with this you will lead and drive forward the refinement of specific business outcomes including epics/feasibility studies at a portfolio level. In this role you'll work with technical and service teams and key business representatives, including senior stakeholders, to explore solution options that deliver value at the earliest possible opportunity. You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre head office in Coventry. You'll work within our dedicated portfolio team of 6. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
We'll be looking for you to be a seasoned business Analyst ideally with experience from working within a cyber or technology business area. If you're able to demonstrate knowledge of Cyber Security standards, tools and techniques used within the profession as well as being familiar with Project management methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall) and IT service management frameworks (such as ITIL) this will be fantastic. We'll also be looking for you to have demonstrable experience of stakeholder management at all levels up to exec board. Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too.
