Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where customer satisfaction and attention to detail are paramount. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, along with basic skills in cooking and customer service. Applicants must be able to work early weekend morning shifts
Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
* Ensure all surfaces are free of dust, dirt, and stains using appropriate cleaning agents
* Change bed linens and towels regularly, ensuring fresh and hygienic conditions
* Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed
* Maintain organisation of storage areas for cleaning equipment and supplies
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
* Assist with laundry duties when required
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently
Experience
* Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
* Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality environments is advantageous
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including the use of specialised cleaning equipment
* Skills in basic cooking or food preparation are considered a bonus but are not essential
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
