Job Description
Reporting to the Marketing & Sales Director, the Marketing Manager (Content & Branding) will be responsible for:
1. Developing and executing the brand strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
2. Producing high-quality content such as articles, case studies, newsletters, videos, and social media posts in line with company vision.
3. Using analytics to refine content strategies and implement data-driven improvements.
4. Proofreading and enhancing content created by the executive team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
5. Leading the creation of industry insights, whitepapers, and case studies.
6. Collaborating with company leaders to identify content gaps and opportunities.
7. Managing visual branding for campaigns and new concepts, working closely with the marketing team.
8. Updating and improving websites using WordPress.
9. Creating engaging press releases by liaising with stakeholders to support brand positioning and campaigns.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have a diverse background in marketing and social media, with expertise in branding and content creation. Experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry is advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will possess:
1. At least 2 years of marketing experience focusing on brand development and visual content creation.
2. Or a recent graduate eager to specialize in marketing.
3. Experience in creating and delivering digital and print content for various stakeholders.
4. Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
5. Experience producing high-volume social media content.
6. Proficiency with Canva, Adobe, WordPress, etc., is a plus.
7. Ability to commute to Nottinghamshire.
