Lauriston Girls’ School invites applications for the role of Head of Sport (7–12), a leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering a dynamic, inclusive and values‑aligned sporting program across the Senior School.

About The Role
* Full‑time, ongoing
Reporting to the Head of Senior School, the Head of Sport (7–12) provides strategic and operational leadership of Lauriston’s Senior School sport program, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with the School’s values and priorities.
The role leads a comprehensive program that supports participation at all levels, from recreational involvement to high‑performance pathways, while promoting an inclusive sporting culture built on collaboration, commitment and achievement.
A teaching load forms part of this position.
Capabilities And Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Physical Education
* Extensive experience leading and managing complex school or community sport programmes
* Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate strategic sporting initiatives
* Strong understanding of risk management, staffing models and scheduling in sport
* Experience using digital sport administration systems (e.g. Clipboard or similar)
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Commitment to student leadership and voice through meaningful sport leadership opportunities
* Ability to build strong partnerships with students, families, staff and external sporting organisations
* Experience and understanding of budgets, resources, risk and compliance to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable program delivery
