Service Engineer – Newcastle
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our Service team in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. You should have a comprehensive lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
* Carry out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits.
* Meet agreed customer response times and build strong relationships with clients.
* Provide regular updates to the Service Supervisor and/or Service Manager.
* Problem‑solve independently and take initiative to resolve technical issues.
* Complete basic service and maintenance requirements for most types of lifts.
* Build effective relationships with internal and external customers, gaining their trust and respect.
* Fully understand HSE aspects of the role and proactively implement procedures.
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience working with lifts.
* Strong customer skills.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work varying hours.
