Overview
Our client is a leading SaaS and technology company, building innovative solutions for Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning. They are offering hybrid, flexible working and are looking to hire an experienced Linux Engineer with good experience across Ansible, Packer and AWS.
From day one you’ll be involved in the design, build, implementation and support of innovative Linux systems with a focus on availability, performance, reliability, and security - from bare-metal through to virtualization, AWS Cloud and automation. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, tools and technologies and have real ownership of your work – a very varied challenge!
Responsibilities
* Design, build, implement and support Linux systems with emphasis on availability, performance, reliability and security, from bare-metal to virtualization and AWS Cloud.
* Work across multiple projects and technologies and take ownership of assigned work.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of Linux administration and engineering.
* Strong understanding of RPM packaging, systems, networking and storage.
* Knowledge of Ansible and DevOps methods.
* Excellent communication skills and a motivated, proactive approach to work.
* Ability to take the lead on work and drive projects forwards.
