We'd like you to join us as a Clinical Care Manager - Registered Childrens Nurse - within our Care in The Home service.
We are looking for someone with experienced clinical skills, but also someone with great leadership skills who enjoys working in care and working with complex care clients (children and young people).
*** This is a qualified nurse role - (Registered Childrens Nurse)
What you'll be working:
* Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
* Home based - With travel across the designated region Devon & Cornwall
(Travelling expenses will be paid)
What you'll be doing:
The Clinical Care Manager will have responsibility of completing Competency based training to the Support Workers supporting clients with complex needs, working in conjunction with other team members.
* Delegation of approved clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers through training and assessment which will contribute to safe and effective service provision
* Work with the Care Manager team within their designated region to ensure that delegation of skills requirements within the region are planned ahead
* Evidence delegation of clinical skills to Support Workers / other team members in line with company policy
* Conduct annual observations of Support Workers and Care Managers within the workplace
* Clinical support for Trache, vents, Catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring NIVS, nebs peg
What you'll have:
* A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Childrens Nurse)
* A legal right to work in the U.K.
* Full driving licence with your own vehicle
* Up to date knowledge and experience in Trache, Vents, Catheterization, Epilepsy, Blood Glucose monitoring NIVS, Nebs Peg
