As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester, you'll lead, support, and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in six of our care homes: two in Oxted, one in Wimbledon, one in Bromley, one in Sydenham, and one in Sevenoaks.
You'll be responsible for supporting the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards. This includes reviewing the clinical governance database and KPIs monthly, analysing results, and developing practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and ongoing care improvement.
Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff, you'll support the enhancement of standards and help implement key actions to address issues. Your role may involve organising training, attracting senior clinical staff, or delivering clinical investigations. Your leadership and passion will significantly impact the residents' care quality.
Due to the regional scope of this role, a willingness to travel regularly is essential.
To qualify, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration, demonstrate continued professional development, and have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements. You should have experience working in a care home environment, be confident in mentoring, including newly-qualified nurses, and possess strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships and execute action plans.
In addition to a competitive salary, Barchester offers a comprehensive rewards package, including generous benefits.
