Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of projects in the £10M range, working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across all geographic areas.
* Coordinate and execute projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial requirements.
* Implement and maintain health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental stewardship, complying with CDM regulations and fostering a safe culture.
* Act as NEC Project Manager, managing contractual processes, contract administration, and timely execution of obligations.
* Collaborate with Commercial teams to forecast accurately, manage budgets, and optimise value for money across projects.
* Build trusted relationships with supply‑chain stakeholders, including regulators and partners, to resolve delivery issues.
* Fulfil standby obligations, ensuring out‑of‑hours availability during emergencies to safeguard service continuity.
Qualifications & Experience
* HND/foundation degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
* Professional Project Management qualification (APM or equivalent).
* Construction‑related qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH).
* Minimum 5 years of contractor‑management experience in line with CDM regulations.
* Minimum 5 years of NEC and other contract administration experience.
* Experience working with multi‑disciplinary engineering, operations, and asset management on complex projects.
Knowledge & Skills
* Good knowledge of the UK water industry, regulatory drivers, asset standards, and capital delivery processes.
* Strong contractor management, safety leadership, commercial oversight, and performance‑management skills.
* Project‑management capabilities, including planning, controlling, and delivering capital projects against tight regulatory timelines.
* Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical, operational, and commercial teams.

Working Environment
Work closely with internal teams such as Dam Safety, Operations, Water Resources, Production, Assets, Finance, Estates, Streetworks, Procurement, Health & Safety, and Commercial. External partners include major framework and design‑and‑build contractors, customers, private landowners, reservoir panel engineers, and regulators such as NRW, OFWAT, DWI, and CCW.
