Location: Hampshire
Salary: Up to £52,000 basic salary
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a role offering a strong work-life balance, autonomy, and variety?
I’m working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Stockbridge who are looking to strengthen their maintenance team with the addition of a hands-on engineer from a hands-on industrial background (E.G Industrial manufacturing, Agriculture, Building Materials.)
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining site machinery, equipment and facilities, ensuring production runs efficiently with minimal downtime. This is a varied role covering both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and all maintenance across the full site.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment
* Fault finding and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
* Minimising downtime through effective and timely repairs
* Supporting installation and modification of equipment
* Assisting with spare parts management and stock control
* Working alongside contractors and supporting site projects
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Ensuring high standards of health & safety and hygiene are adhered to
You will also be part of an on-call rota and provide support as part of a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with additional pay provided for on call.
Shift
Either:
* Monday – Thursday (4-day week), or Tuesday – Friday (4-day week) with condensed hours
* Alternatively, Monday - Friday
* 1 in 3 weekends required on site
* On-call rota with additional payment
What We’re Looking For
* Multi-Skilled Engineer with Level 3 recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
* Experience working with: Motors, drives, gearboxes and inverters, Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Experience within industrial manufacturing, Agriculture or similar environments
* Welding / fabrication experience beneficial
* Flexible and proactive approach to work
