We are now hiring a full-time Production Manager to manage our media workflow end-to-end. From studio recording and full production shoots to content editing and asset management.

What will you be doing?

Your time will be split across:

Production Days

* Approximately 15–20 full production days per year, involving on-location filming at Oxford, guest coordination, and operating professional AV equipment.
* You will be responsible for setting up, managing, and packing down shoots, often acting as the on-site producer.

Weekly Studio Production

* Manage the weekly Oxford Talks podcast session at our in-house studio in Oval, London.
* Run sessions using our in-house equipment either independently or with a small crew.
* Ensure all episodes are recorded, backed up, and handed off for editing or publication.

Social Media Editing

* Regularly edit and deliver high-quality short-form content from podcast and production footage for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Add branded motion graphics, subtitles, and audio elements.
* Work closely with the founder to ensure content tone and storytelling align with Oxford Talks’ mission

Digital Asset & Workflow Management

* Maintain a clean and structured media library with consistent naming and tagging.
* Use tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io, and Notion to manage the content lifecycle.
* Archive all raw and edited media systematically and securely.

Required Skills and Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of experience in audio & video production, or digital media.
* Confident using editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
* Familiar with audio production software (Audition, Descript, Logic Pro).
* Experience handling Sony Cinema DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio recorders, and lighting kits.
* Comfortable working solo or with a small team on-site.
* Knowledge of social media formats, aspect ratios, and engagement-driven storytelling.

Education and Qualifications

* Evidence of consistent, high-quality work and attention to detail.
* A degree in Media Production, Communications, Film, or equivalent experience is ideal, but not essential.
* Certifications or self-taught portfolios in editing, podcasting, or production workflows are welcome.

Personal Abilities

* Must be London-based.
* Must have a full UK driving license.
* Must be willing to undergo a background/security check.
* Proactive and disciplined - you anticipate needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and adapt quickly.
* Highly organised, you take pride in structured systems and clean file handling.
* Strong communicator, both verbally on production days and in writing for handovers and briefs.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where flexibility is key.

What you will get:

* A full-time position in one of London’s most exciting emerging media brands.
* Creative ownership of production and editing for weekly podcast and short-form content.
* Starting salary of £2,200/month, with clear and rapid performance-based progression.
* A front-row seat to conversations with world-class thinkers and creators.
* Access to equipment, studio resources, and mentorship to grow your career in media.
