At Fedcap UK, we’re looking for a Service Improvement Specialist who can roll up their sleeves, work alongside operational teams and drive meaningful, sustainable improvements across the business.
The role
As a Service Improvement Specialist, you will work directly with operational and support teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies, diagnose performance gaps, and implement high-impact solutions. Collaborating across the business, you will play a key role in driving sustainable improvements and lasting change.
* Salary: £33,048–£35,535
* Location: On-site, accepting applications from candidates within reasonable distance of any of our South-Central offices: Banbury, Basingstoke, Brighton, Chichester, Guildford, Oxford, Slough, Staines, High Wycombe & Reading
* Travel: Regular UK travel required (expenses covered)
What you’ll do
Data Analysis:
* Analyse operational and corporate services data against KPIs
* Identify performance trends and trigger deep dives where required
Identifying Improvement Opportunities
* Use data, SLT insights, and regional feedback to spot improvement areas
* Act quickly to initiate and track improvement activity in Monday.com
Team Formation
* Coordinate core resources and engage SMEs as needed
* Work collaboratively with HR, L&D, and other teams to resolve issues
Root Cause Analysis
* Clearly define problems and gather evidence
* Apply root cause tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams
Plan Development & Implementation
* Develop and deliver improvement plans aligned to root causes
* Ensure plans are sponsored, tracked, and effectively managed
Cultural & Collaborative Approach
* Work supportively with operational and support teams to address challenges
* Communicate clearly and implement changes in partnership
Impact Review
* Monitor outcomes and adjust actions to ensure improvements stick
* Champion continuous improvement across the organisation
* Perform any additional duties aligned to programme delivery needs
