The Housekeeping Assistant is required to manage the
day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping services of MacLeod House & Lodge, along with supporting other estate facilities including the Clubhouse, Dram in the Dunes, Heritage Retreat and Estate Offices.
MacLeod House & Lodge is a five-star, 18-bedroom luxury
country house hotel located within the heart of the estate. Featuring opulent furnishings and heritage
features, the property offers exceptional resort accommodations for golfers,
visitors and guests.
Supporting the Housekeeping Manager and working closely with Macled House and Lodge Manager and Resort Services teams, this post is integral to the
day-to-day operations of the resort and requires meticulous attention to detail
and the highest standards of fineness and cleanliness.
This is a hands-on housekeeping role that operates on a shift-based
system including occasional evening and weekend working in line with the
seasonal needs of the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertake daily housekeeping and cleaning
activities for all guest rooms and specified public areas

Support the Housekeeping Manager with laundry,
amenities, supplies and equipment management
¨
Ensure guest rooms are immaculate and ready for
guest arrivals every day
¨
Report any missing or damaged items, ensuring
they are replaced and repaired
¨
Comply with Health and Safety and COSHH
regulations rules in line with company policies
¨
Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks when
required
¨
Maintain records and standard operating
procedures
¨
Assist with training and oversight of
housekeeping team and external cleaning contractors
¨
Undertake site-wide housekeeping and cleaning
activities, as required by management
¨
Any activities deemed necessary to support the
smooth operation of the business
Qualifying Criteria:
¨
Housekeeping experience, ideally in a four- or
five-star environment
¨
Meticulous eye for detail and demonstrable
commitment to maintaining high standards
¨
Excellent timing keeping and good organisational
skills
¨
Positive and flexible approach to work including
weekend and evening shifts
¨
Proactive with the ability to work with minimal
supervision
