CNC Milling Setter/Programmer Location: Ruislip Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week) / Part-time options available Shift: Days Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter/Programmer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality, complex components that meet strict industry standards. You will work closely with engineers and colleagues on the shop floor to achieve efficient and precise machining operations. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC Milling Machines using Fanuc/Haas controls. Produce complex components from a range of materials to customer specifications. Ensure performance of part production to planned set/run times and quality standards. Adhere to ISO9001/14001:2015 Quality and Environmental standards. Carry out tool setup, offsets, and program adjustments where required. Record and support continuous improvement in 5S organisation across work areas. Ensure correct use of materials and drawings in production. Conduct accurate inspection using micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, and other equipment. About You Minimum 2 years experience in setting and operating CNC Milling Machines. Skilled in working with high-complexity components across multiple materials. Knowledge of 4 and 5 Axis Machines. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proficient in using precision inspection tools. Able to consistently produce components to tolerance and specification. Strong literacy and record-keeping skills.
