Lift Engineer – Route Engineer (East Scotland)
Job Summary
Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is recruiting qualified Lift Engineers to cover a route across Edinburgh, Lothian, Scottish Borders and Fife.
Working Hours
Monday‑Thursday 8:00 – 16:45, Friday 8:00 – 15:45
Responsibilities
* Conduct maintenance, repair and call‑out visits on various types of lifts.
* Ensure high‑quality service and safety standards.
* Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
* Participate in on‑call rota, receiving standby allowance and call‑out payment on top of a competitive base salary.
* Manage service route autonomously, covering servicing, maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of industrial lifts.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Lift Engineer / Lift Service Engineer.
* A valid UK driving licence.
