They are now seeking a Head of Production Operations to lead their busy production, logistics and installation teams. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced production professional with a background in large format printing and a passion for operational excellence, quality, and sustainability.
Job Role:
1. Oversee all aspects of large format production, logistics, and installation to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
2. Lead, motivate, and develop multi-skilled production teams across multiple shifts
3. Manage production schedules, workflows, and resource planning to optimise efficiency and output
4. Implement and maintain robust quality control and health & safety standards
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices
6. Collaborate with Procurement to forecast and manage material requirements
7. Support the introduction of new print technologies and production methods
8. Ensure clear communication between production, logistics, account management, and project teams
9. Provide operational insight and recommendations for capacity planning and business development
Skills and Experience
10. Proven experience in a senior production or operations role within Large Format Print
11. Strong knowledge of printing technologies, materials, and finishing processes
12. Expertise in production scheduling, workflow optimisation, and quality control
13. Confident leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach, and unite diverse teams
14. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
15. Strong understanding of Health & Safety and sustainable production practices
16. Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure
