Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Primary SEN teacher to join a Primary School with a dedicated SEN provion. You will be working small classes of students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This is a full time, long-term role starting in September 2024. You will mainly be covering a modified KS1 and 2 curriculum

The School:
This is a vibrant 2 form entry primary school in Barnet who have a dedicated SEN provision and their aim is to help students feel more engaged in their learning with a view to help them transition back into the mainstream classroom.
As the SEN Provison teacher you will be responsible for the below:
1. Quality and effective delivery of lessons lesson to pupils in the Provision
2. Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
3. Support behaviour by following the children's plans
4. Contributing to setting targets for children
5. Working alongside the SENCO and other professionals in the support network
6. Communicating effectively with parents and carers
To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:
7. QTS
8. Knowledge of, or previous experience teaching children with SEMH
9. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
10. CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
11. Legal right to work in the UK
