Salary: £32,178 - £49,725 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role
As a GCSE English Teacher, you will play a key role in motivating and supporting students to achieve academic success. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact within an inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and engaging GCSE English lessons to post-16 learners
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and college expectations
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback and support
* Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and enrichment activities
Candidate Requirements
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS or equivalent)
* A degree in English or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching GCSE English, ideally in a post-16 or secondary education setting
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
