Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient Art teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in the Liverpool area. The role will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Art, with the expectation to plan and deliver engaging Art lessons to support students in developing a strong understanding of Artistic concepts. This is a full-time position, starting in January.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
3. Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
4. Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes
5. Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Specialism in Art/Art & Deisgn – able to teach to KS3 and KS4
8. Strong classroom management skills
9. Ability to build rapport with students and staff
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
