The Vacancy

Are you a highly organised and detailed driven individual looking to make an impact on a high-profile project?

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the Programme Manager in the creation and delivery of complex projects and workstreams for the Bank of England tenders (Print, Substrate and Features).

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the centre of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders to help ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
* Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
* Track project budgets and cost tracker
* Track project progress of deliverables and milestones
* Work with delivery teams across our sites (Basingstoke, Westhoughton, Debden and Malta)
* Work with the Head of Programme to document the risk sensitivities residing within each project and workstream
* Track dependencies across the programme, risk, issues and requirements

Contract type: Fixed Term (12 Months)

Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hrs per week (9am – 5:15pm Mon, 9am – 5pm Tues – Fri)

Base location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

* Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g. MS Project).
* 2-4 years of experience in a project support or coordination role
* Awareness of risk and issue management
* Recognised foundation Level PPM or PMO qualification
* PRINCE2 or PMP qualification
* Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
* Degree or Apprenticeship Level 6 or equivalent ideally in a business-related qualification
