We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of flat-pack furniture and household items. Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team. This hours for this role are 8am to 4pm
Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving regular heavy lifting and unloading of shipping containers. Applicants must be comfortable with manual work in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Travel Requirements
The role is based at our Leeds site; however, candidates will be required to travel to our Head office at BD4 and Cleckheaton sites on request. Due to location and shift requirements, applicants must have their own transport.
Key Responsibilities
· Unloading heavy goods from shipping containers safely and efficiently.
· Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.
· Working as a team to unload bulky items.
· Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised.
· Following all manual handling and safety procedures.
· Assisting with general warehouse operations as required.
What we are looking for
· Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely and repeatedly.
· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
· Positive attitude with good communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail.
· A team player with a strong work ethic.
· Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Working hours
· 37.5 hours per week (flexibility is essential)
· Overtime may be required during busy periods.
· 2-3 Sundays per month on a rota basis.
