Job Title: SENDIASS Officer Hours: Part-time (3.5 days per week, 9:00am5:00pm) Pay Rate: £26.62 per hour We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated SENDIASS Officer to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive appropriate support to achieve positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, schools, and partner agencies Undertake assessments and support statutory SEND processes Provide impartial advice, guidance, and advocacy to families and stakeholders Support home-school liaison and deliver interventions to improve outcomes Facilitate and attend meetings, including mediation and tribunal processes Maintain accurate case records and manage a varied caseload Work collaboratively with services to ensure appropriate SEND provision Promote the welfare and inclusion of children and young people at all times Requirements NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field Minimum of 4 GCSEs (AC) or equivalent Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and tribunal procedures Experience working with children, young people, and families Excellent communication, organisation, and advocacy skills
