Your new role
As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, planning, and supervising the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
2. Conducting site investigations and analysing data such as maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
3. Evaluating potential risks, materials, and costs.
4. Providing technical advice and resolving on-site issues.
5. Ensuring projects adhere to legal requirements, particularly health and safety regulations.
6. Coordinating with clients and various professionals, including architects and subcontractors.
7. Managing project resources to ensure timelypletion.
8. Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, our client is looking for candidates with:• Degree in Civil Engineering•Actively working towards chartered status.• 3+ years post-graduate relevant experience in the areas of highways, transportation and/or active travel engineering or other disciplines.•Proficient with engineering software like AUTOCAD, Civil3D,Revit and others•Have experience of dealing directly with clients and/or project stakeholders and forging effective relationships in a professional / customer-focused manner.
