Overview
We are seeking a professional, proactive and experienced School Business Manager to lead on the strategic and operational management of our school's finances, administration, human resources, premises and health & safety.
Responsibilities
* Lead strategic and operational management of finances, administration, HR, premises and health & safety.
* Collaborate with the Headteacher and Governors to develop and implement the school's strategy and budget.
* Oversee financial planning, budgeting, procurement and financial reporting.
* Ensure effective human resources practices including staff well-being, safeguarding compliance and payroll administration.
* Manage premises, facilities, health & safety compliance and risk management.
* Promote safeguarding, equality and uphold the Catholic values of our school.
Qualifications & attributes
* Experience in financial and resource management, ideally within education or the public sector.
* Understands the key responsibilities of HR, premises and health & safety management.
* Can think strategically and work collaboratively with the Headteacher and Governors.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong IT capability.
* Is committed to safeguarding, equality, and upholding the Catholic values of our school.
* Works with integrity, professionalism and discretion.
What we offer
* Salary: Grade 8, £30,339 - £34,022 per annum
* 37 hours per week, Permanent, term time only (plus additional working weeks by negotiation)
