As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your keen eye for detail will be reflected in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and the ability to get along with others. Good communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
