About Inspired HR
Inspired HR is a specialist consultancy providing expert HR support to small and growing businesses. We are known for our commercially sound, straight-talking advice and deep expertise in employment law and complex case management.
Alongside our core HR services, our specialist arm, Inspired Minds, supports organisations with neurodiversity screening, ADHD coaching and inclusive workplace practices. Integrity, inclusion and professional excellence sit at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our growing consultancy team. This is a hands-on role managing a high volume of employee relations matters across a varied and fast-paced client base.
You will regularly handle multiple live cases simultaneously — often complex, sensitive and time-critical. This is not a low-volume advisory role. It requires strong case management discipline, excellent written documentation skills and the ability to move confidently between matters without losing attention to detail.
You will be advising business owners, senior leaders and HR professionals, frequently in high-risk or emotionally charged situations. The ability to balance empathy with robust legal and commercial judgement is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high volume of concurrent disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and conduct cases
Lead and conduct complex investigations from initial brief through to outcome
Draft legally robust outcome letters, scripts and documentation
Provide clear, pragmatic and risk-aware employment law advice to clients
Support clients through restructures and organisational change processes
Coach and challenge managers to improve capability and confidence
Maintain accurate case records and ensure procedural consistency
Promote inclusive and neurodiversity-informed approaches where appropriate
About You
Significant experience managing high-volume employee relations caseload
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and procedural best practice
Demonstrable experience handling complex and high-risk cases independently
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Able to prioritise effectively and remain calm under sustained pressure
Commercially astute and confident advising clients
You will thrive in a fast-paced consultancy environment, enjoy variety and take pride in delivering employee relations work to a high professional standard — fairly, thoroughly and with integrity.
