Job Description
This position is ideal for a solicitor or legal executive with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience in private client work who is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll manage a varied caseload with autonomy, while receiving support from senior colleagues when needed.You'll be advising clients on:
3. Drafting both straightforward and complex Wills
4. Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
5. Probate and estate administration
6. Trust creation and management
7. Inheritance Tax planning and mitigation
8. Elderly client care and estate planning
You'll be encouraged to build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the team. The role offers a balance of technical challenge and client-facing work, with opportunities to develop your expertise further, particularly if you're working towards or already hold the STEP qualification.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Private Clients Senior Associate should have:
9. Qualified Solicitor status with a strong background in private client law.
10. Proven experience in handling wills, trusts, and probate matters with confidence.
11. Excellent drafting and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
12. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently.

14. Knowledge of current developments and trends within private client law.
15. Hold the STEP qualification.
