My client, an industry leader on the outskirts of Weybridge, is looking for a progressive Finance Analyst on a full-time permanent basis.
Working hours: 37 hours a week
Working hybrid policy: 2 days in the office per week
Summary
An exciting new role that will be pivotal in supporting two commercial internal teams to drive the best pricing structure for all key products across the wider business, driven by market opportunities, acquisitions, and growth.
A key aspect of the role will involve creating commercial analyses from a variety of sources to support decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.
We are recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client for an analyst with proven skills, keen attention to detail, and a focus on automation and standardization. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, with strong commercial acumen, technical skills, and high integrity.
Key Accountabilities
1. Provide analytical support to the Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Category teams.
2. Deliver product-level analysis to support decision-making for the Category teams and stakeholders with a structured approach.
3. Analyze opportunities related to consolidated spends, understanding complex pricing structures.
4. Build strong relationships with stakeholders including procurement, Category, and Finance teams.
5. Coordinate and track pricing and analysis, summarizing insights to facilitate decision-making.
6. Understand data sources, their integration, and how to consolidate them in Excel.
7. Create commercial analyses across various workstreams to support business decisions and stakeholder insights.
8. Model complex rebate and pricing structures, summarizing findings for diverse audiences such as Finance, Account Management, Procurement, Suppliers, and Clients.
9. Conduct scenario and what-if analyses, providing dynamic summaries to support business decisions and approvals.
10. Deliver proactive ad-hoc financial analyses to aid decision-making.
11. Be present at business head offices as needed to support operations.
12. Understand the business's commercial model and procurement deals.
13. Monitor and audit work for accuracy and relevance.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* High numerical and analytical capability with diligence.
* Experience developing and working with complex spreadsheets.
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to analyze, evaluate, and present information concisely.
Desirable:
* Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualifications.
* Confidence to make recommendations and advise the team.
