Summary:
We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to join us andtake responsibility for our defence related IT Business Analysis projects.
This is a new role to support our expanding organisationand an exciting time to join as we develop our IT services & operations.
Examples of specific activitiescould include;
* Lead on the development and elaborationof compelling Business Cases and detailed requirements documentation forcomplex programmes and projects
* Ensuringthat project benefits are clearlyidentified,mapped andmonitored at initiation andthroughout theprojectlifecycle
* Identify & propose continuousimprovement opportunities to Business Analysis policy or procedures. Required
* Ensurethat project benefits areclearlyidentified, mapped andmonitored at initiationandthroughout the projectlifecycle
* Project Work: Provide IT Governance assurance fornon-functional requirements in Statements of Requirements and similar documentsand ensures projects and IT procurements are carried out with these in mind.
* Project Work: Apply initiative to devise options andsolutions to complex business problems,using a range of business analysistoolsand techniques to ensure differing perspectives, relevant policy,legislation and regulations are considered.
* Project Work: Ensure that project solutions arein-line with key stakeholder requirements, and that any process changes as aresult of the project are documented and understood.
* Project Work: Coach, mentor, motivate and superviseproject and programme team BAs to ensure successful project delivery
* Project Sponsors - Actively engages with sponsorsthroughout the project delivery lifecycle ensuring requirements are beingadhered to and scope is not changing.
So, what are we looking for inyour application?
We will prioritise applications with background in fieldssuch as defence, engineering & manufacturing industries.Specific experience we will look for in your applicationincludes:
* Proventrack record as an IT Business Analyst.Examplesof relevant projects relating to IT infrastructure, networking, cyber security,IT service delivery.
* Abilityand willingness to undertake Government Security Clearance. Existing clearance desirable but notrequired.
* Understandingof Waterfall and Agile methodologies (mainly waterfall)
* Strongstakeholder management, communication and relationship management skills
* Excellentanalytical and problems-solving abilities, and a sound knowledge of processreview, business analysis and system development methodologies
* Desirable:Relevant Professional IT Qualifications – BCS BA Practitioner or Six SigmaBlack Belt or IT degree. However if youhave the experience above please still apply.
