4. Co-ordinate and oversee the implementation of the Supportive Housing Service.
5. Deliver a professional, empathetic, and effective service to people, families and communities.
6. Provide warm, dry and safe short-term accommodation for people in need, along with tailored support to transition to suitable and sustainable long-term accommodation.
7. Support and guide staff to deliver the Supportive Housing Contract.
8. To represent The Salvation Army in local Housing forums, advocating for long term systemic change.
9. Connecting people to Salvation Army Services and Corps programmes that enhance their current circumstances and that meet individual needs.

10. Knowledgeable of Supportive Housing Contract and Salvation Army Policies
11. Oversee the operational practice of the Housing service
12. Collaboration and Contribution to Regional Housing Solutions
13. Manages risks within houses and breaches to Occupancy Agreements / Escalation of concerns
14. Prepare reports
15. Committed to upholding and supporting The Salvation Army mission and Christian values
Mōu ake - About you:
16. Minimum degree level in social sciences, education or health sector is preferred.
17. Proven experience in leading dynamic teams. A minimum of three years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions.
18. Full & clean drivers license
19. Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
20. Demonstrates natural leadership qualities establishing great working relationships with staff, service users, peers.
21. Ability to inspire and motivate staff in a strength-based manner, celebrating successes

Hours of work: Permanent full time of 40 hours per week
The starting salary for this role will fall between $95,250- $122,464
