We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-driven Electrical Superintendent to lead and coordinate all electrical construction activities across the project site. The successful candidate will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning works, ensuring all electrical operations are executed to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety. This role is critical in driving progress, managing subcontractors, and maintaining alignment with project schedules and engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise all electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
* Coordinate daily work plans and ensure alignment with project schedules.
* Manage subcontractors and monitor workmanship to meet quality and compliance standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections, identifying risks and ensuring safe working practices.
* Interpret electrical drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
* Support QA/QC processes and maintain accurate installation and commissioning records.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
* Provide progress updates and highlight risks or delays.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Electrical Supervisor on large industrial or EPC projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation standards, and commissioning processes.
* Solid understanding of UK electrical regulations and HSE requirements.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable
* Experience in chemical, energy, or process‑plant construction.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Industry certifications such as ECS/CSCS or CompEx.
