A rare opportunity has come up as we are looking to appoint an Assistant Recruitment Branch Manager to join our growing SEND team in London, where you will be working with education staff across the London area. The role: Smart Teachers can offer an unrivalled service to both schools and teachers. You will provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse and involves: Supporting the Branch Manager and Regional Director with branch growth; Learning and development of Trainee Recruitment Consultants; Assisting with the creation of job adverts to help attract new candidates; Posting job adverts and proactively searching for candidates on targeted job boards and social media; Assessing CVs for key candidate skills and abilities; Processing applications, booking-in and conducting candidate interviews; Completing registration paperwork for successful candidates as well as using our Salesforce system to record and manage your work; Assisting with the clearance process, to ensure all candidates are cleared in line with DfE guidelines and all children are safeguarded; Ensuring all payroll and other queries are effectively dealt with; Supporting other members of the team with identifying candidate availability, filling and confirming school bookings and making sure all timesheets are received on time; Ensuring the ethos of Vision for Education is maintained and promoted to candidates and schools. The successful candidate will have/be: Minimum 1 year experience as a billing education Recruitment Consultant (preferably within SEND). Experience supporting/developing/mentoring Trainee Recruitment Consultants. Excellent communication and sales skills. The ability to grow their desk. Excellent time management and organisational skills. An ability to organise their own workload and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and resilient. The ability to act on their own initiative. Possess a professional and ethical approach to business. Be able to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face-to-face.
