Stephen James Consulting are working with one of their expanding elderly care providers in the search for a Home Manager for a medium-sized residential care home based in Derbyshire. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving quality improvement, staff engagement, and commercial performance within a well-established home providing high-quality residential care for older people. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC and company standards * Leading, developing, and supporting staff to deliver person-centred, compassionate care * Implementing robust action plans to improve quality and CQC outcomes * Managing budgets, occupancy, and staffing to achieve strong operational performance * Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders To be considered for this role, you will need: * At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered or Home Manager within residential care for older people * Proven experience in turnaround or service improvement environments * Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams * NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) This is a great opportunity for an experienced Manager who thrives on challenge and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and compliance.
