Complex Care Assistant - Female, drivers, age 25 Minimum because need to drive disability car, Bury - £14 per hour We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistants to join our community-based care team. In this role, you will support service users with complex and often life-changing health needs, enabling them to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. You will play a vital part in enhancing quality of life by delivering high-quality, person-centred care that respects dignity, promotes choice, and supports each individuals physical and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Your duties may include, but are not limited to: Clinical Care & Support Provide safe and effective moving and handling using the appropriate equipment and techniques. Deliver personal care, support with hygiene, dressing, and continence care. Administer medication Support with feeding and nutrition, including PEG feeding where required. Deliver tracheostomy care Confidently operate specialist equipment such as cough assist machines Monitor and record all clinical interventions, promptly reporting any changes Person-Centred Support Provide emotional reassurance and build positive, trusting relationships with service users and their families. Encourage and assist with day-to-day activities, routines, and meaningful engagement to promote independence and quality of life. Qualifications & Skills Essential: A genuine passion for supporting people with complex health needs. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Willingness to learn and undertake specialist clinical training. Desirable: At least 6 months care experience in the UK Previous experience with complex care tasks such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, or ventilator support.
