We are offering a 6-year apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance which is inclusive of further education to HNC/HND level in the relevant discipline.\n\nWe also offer competitive Apprenticeship rates as well as the opportunity to join a fast-moving, highly technological industry where the opportunities available are dependent on the commitment and enthusiasm of the individuals.\n Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery and equipment.\n\nPerform preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.\n\nMaintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\n\nRead and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical schematics.\n\nInstall, dismantle, and align industrial machinery and mechanical components. You will have achieved or be working towards 4 National 5âs or equivalent A - C grades, 2 of which should be STEM subjects, and a minimum of 3 Highers, 1 of which should be a STEM subject. Alternatively, those currently studying or have gained HNC level in either an Electrical or Mechanical bias will also be considered.
