Responsibilities
In your role as a Clinical Lead at HC One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. As a Clinical Lead you will:
* Ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice.
* Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence.
* Supervise and coach colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
* Act as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
* Advocate and deliver a person‑centred approach to care for the people living in our care home and their families.
* Recognise the signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns.
* Attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and undertake additional training in associated areas.
* Seek appropriate advice, report concerns and, if necessary, escalade if action is not taken.
Qualifications
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and will understand your commitment to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC.
You will have a passion to mentor and share your knowledge with your colleagues.
