About the Opportunity
* Lead the planning and development of health services to cater to the diverse and growing population of the Western Sydney Parklands region.
* Shape health services for the new and rapidly growing Western Sydney Parklands region.
* Develop skills in health planning with a focus on innovative, community-centred health service models to meet future population needs.
Responsibilities
* Conduct needs assessments, demographic analysis, and stakeholder consultations.
* Develop models of care, plans and strategies that align with broader SWSLHD priorities and NSW Health objectives.
* Collaborate with key partners to integrate health services into broader infrastructure and urban planning projects.
* Manage timelines and report on project milestones and outcomes.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership and project management skills, proven ability to deliver complex projects.
* Strategic thinking and ability to align initiatives with organisational goals.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline or equivalent work experience with demonstrated project management experience.
* Advanced interpersonal skills – facilitation, negotiation, consultation with key stakeholders.
* High-level knowledge of inter-relationships between models of care and departmental operational policies and procedures.
* Ability to collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision making.
* Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (P2 Licence acceptable) with willingness to travel.
Job Details
Full-time, Monday to Friday, based at Liverpool Hospital with travel across SWSLHD as necessary. Role is part of the Planning Unit, within the Strategy and Partnerships Directorate.
