Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Administrator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the operation of our school-aged immunisation service, delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age, with follow-up clinics within the community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to students and families. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare or educational setting and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of infection control, immunisation, and public health.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Support the team to facilitate the smooth continuity of service delivery.
* Travel to schools and clinics using own vehicle (mileage paid).
* Collection and delivery of vaccines, equipment, and materials following cold chain guidelines.
* Return of unused vaccines, equipment, and paperwork after vaccination sessions.
* Understand pre-requisites of giving immunisations, contra-indications, aftercare, and relevant advice.
* Contribute to the identification and immunisation of home-schooled children and those in Pupil Referral Units.
