Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
* Provide support, information, and advice to patients, families, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal and professional guidelines.
* Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to regulatory standards.
* Demonstrate leadership skills and act as a mentor to new and junior staff members.
* Participate in educational initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning.
* Contribute to audit and research activities to enhance the delivery of palliative care services.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification with relevant experience in a similar setting.
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of palliative care principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
