Year 1 and Year 2 - Living Wage rate (£24,242 p.a.)
Year 3 - 85% of HC05 (£24,759 p.a.)
Year 4 - 90% of HC05 (£26,216 p.a.)
Full trade rate: £29,129 - £31,899 p.a.

Job Purpose: To install and maintain a wide range of electrical works including Street Lighting, Floodlighting, Illuminated signs, Traffic Signals, Navigational Aids, Depots, and Offices.
Apprentices will learn basic skills and will have the opportunity to gain more responsibility and practical experience.
The successful applicant will:
* Repair and maintain Street Lighting, Floodlighting, Illuminated signs, Traffic Signals, Navigational Aids, Depots, and Offices under guidance, instruction, and training.

During the apprenticeship, the candidate will undertake:
* SVQ 3 in Electrical Installation, SCQF Level 7
This is a 4-year Modern Apprenticeship program.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake some self-study.
