As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Calibration Engineer to join our friendly and professional team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in calibration and temperature monitoring. You will play a key role in the calibration of temperature and humidity sensors, preparation of thermal mapping studies, and delivery of high-quality technical support to our customers. Training will be provided, and you will work closely with a supportive team who pride themselves on delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calibrate temperature and humidity sensors to defined standards.
* Prepare and execute thermal mapping studies for client facilities and equipment.
* Produce accurate technical reports in line with regulatory and quality requirements.
* Carry out on-site calibrations at client premises when required.
* Provide technical support and represent Isatec professionally on client sites.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical aptitude and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Essential qualities:
* Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong technical and practical skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Organised, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic hands-on mechanical skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable experience and knowledge:
* Previous laboratory, electronics, or calibration experience.
* Understanding of metrology and calibration practices.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
* Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
