Contract: Full Time, Permanent; Working hours per week: 40; Salary: £12.69 - £13.31 per hour (£13,447.50 - £13,842.40 per annum); Closing Date: Saturday 31 January 2026
Shift Pattern: 2–3 shifts per week (typically 2 on 4 off). Overtime pay: 1.25x hourly rate. Sleep‑in shift: £30 per shift, £1,560 per week.

We are seeking Children and Young Persons Residential Support Workers to join our home who can establish meaningful relationships in a positive, warm, and rewarding environment. This permanent role supports both children and young adults within a CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation) residential setting for girls and boys aged 7‑18.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing emotional support during challenging times
* Building strong and healthy relationships to help children and young people learn to trust again
* Working as a key worker to one of the young people
* Helping them build resilience and self‑confidence
* Teaching boundaries and healthy relationship concepts
* Fostering ambition to help young people achieve their goals and maximise potential
* Offering support in educational pursuits
* Maintaining accurate records and preparing written reports for planning meetings, reviews or any other meetings directed by the line manager
* Empowering young people to actively participate in decision‑making about their lives and future
* Acting as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion
* Encouraging community engagement, attending off‑site activities, and expanding personal social networks
* Meeting the needs of children and young people, organising social activities and maintaining the home (laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.)
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements
* Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
* Full UK driving licence preferable
* No prior experience necessary; only a commitment and passion for working with young people
* Attendance at a 2‑week training programme required
* Must have availability for sleep‑in shifts
