The Cover Supervisor role is a pivotal leadership position designed to maintain stability in secondary classrooms (Ages 11:16). You are the supervisor, the manager, and the essential link in the learning chain.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the class and manage secondary students (ages 11:16).
* Deliver pre:prepared lessons from the absent teacher.
* Hand out and collect learning materials.
* Take and record the class attendance register.
* Supervise students while they complete their tasks.
* Report lesson progress and any student issues to the teacher.
* Ensure student safety and well:being.
Skills Required:
* The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
* Punctuality and unwavering commitment to school schedules.
* Capacity to communicate effectively with students and staff.
* Readiness to work across different departments and year groups.
