A growing defence/aerospace organisation is seeking a senior stress engineer to lead structural analysis activities for a next-generation complex platform. The position involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams across several UK sites to develop advanced structural solutions.

The Role
The Mechanical Analysis function oversees structural and thermal performance across the full product lifecycle—from early concept studies through detailed development, testing, manufacturing support and in-service investigation. Work involves a mix of classical analysis, advanced CAE simulation (static, dynamic, fatigue, aeroelastic, nonlinear, impact, kinematics), qualification testing and loads/fault assessments.
